It's been a long 2 years since our Inaugrual showcasing of "The Sophisticated Way". 

The creation of this event was inspired by a 1960s Hennessy Ad Campaign called "The Civilized Way" , where Characters of Color were depicted in very classy and "civilized" situations in a time when the narrative was typically the complete opposite. It aroused a vibe of celebration of one another, something that I wanted to recreate. 

I brought together true influencers from all walks of life that were deserving of celebration for demonstrating excellence within their community, career, and lifestyle. People were then invited who demonstrated at least one of these pillars of excellence. 

This event created such an uproar that it was deemed neccessary to celebrate the event itself with a publication from Vergia Life Magazine, based in Nigeria, Africa. 

Now that we are able to celebrate once more, I would like to cordially invite you to "The Sophisticated Way Tour" where we are celebrating one another not only in our Nation's Capitol, but in Atlanta, Georgia, and Los Angeles, California. 

We have been through so much and our resilience and creativity throughout this time should be honored. So at this event you will receive:

Like many of us over time, this event is growing to be able to celebrate one another on a larger scale, so when you attend, know that we are celebrating your accomplishments too; those moments when you thought you were at your worst, you still made it to be here with all of us. 

Life is worth celebrating, it is much more fun when we can celebrate together.
